Stirling Road was my preferred Reuse & Recycling Centre but that has now changed. It had nothing to do with me. I was hoping that they would move on to having a Fixing Factory just like the one at Park Royal (Brent) which we can use just like the other Reuse & Recycling Centres in our West London Waste Authority. These are obviously like many things resultant on winning grants usually from Central Government. We've been living in grab-a-grant land for a long time. It wasn't my idea to reduce costs by reducing and amalgamating Reuse & Recycling Centres and Waste Transfer and Collection stations for waste etc - it was a Govt one - and I don't know or care which one or when. It was a decision which was obviously designed to reduce the cost to Councils and therefore... residents. This has happened all over the country and the UK. But don't let that stop your constant blinkered insults and whinges... although there must be more useful ways to let off steam. The world is still going round but some of you just seem to want to stop still. Change happens and life moves on. Some of us just get on with it - like it or not. Why don't you check out our West London Waste Authority: https://westlondonwaste.gov.uk/ |
