Kevin , may I as a 92 year old resident of Acton think you have spoken quite wisely. I am still able to drive a car but at my age shirk the idea of travelling to the Greenford waste depot two or three times in in order to dispose of my waste . Bad enough having to clear leaves from my road and also the drain opposite my front gate and coping with garden waste not collected for 3 months of the year. Ealing Council live on different planet from their residents. Just like the Government .They can all PAY to have their stuff removed from their luxury residences. Expect I shall get a lot of sarcastic comments about my opinion , My back is broad having lived through WW2 in spite of my daddy giving up his life . In this day and age FOR WHAT I wonder ? |
