It would not have been such a shock to us if political parties hadn't been so scared of making themselves unpopular. Twenty years after being told that we had to act on Climate Change it has taken a teenager to bring it to the fore. We need to reduce the burning of fossil fuels. What happened with the UK Govt? Well we lobbied the EU against the figures they considered illegal to try and make our pollution figures look less awful. We were taken to the High Court several times and lost because of our illegal air pollution.
