| Gordon. The policy might be a central government idea but its implementation is entirely Ealing. That Andrew Gilligan cane up with it shows how stupid councils are to follow. He has as much transport planning knowledge as my cat. Considering the council makes millions of pounds of surplus from parking services. It’s the one area where they aren’t short of cash. The Local Implementation Plan was a dog’s dinner. All anti-car and not consulted on in any meaningful way. Nobody who’s followed Ealing Council in recent years is surprised that the LTN consultation is a similar sham. I agree about poor implementation of these things and the ignorance displayed by our councillors in failing to engage. |
