| Nicholas, it would appear that there is a government-backed study into the rapid production of a vaccine, and that we have a vaccine-development programme out of Oxford University run by Professor Sarah Gilbert who thinks that there is an 80 percent chance that it will work, however, even if she gets a working vaccine in September she says that there is no way that they will be able to manufacture enough to innoculate the whole population by the end of the year, one can but hope that she will be successful and that the Government will come up with a ventilator-manufacturing-competition-like scheme to provide manufacturing capacity. She said it would cost £100 million to do the whole thing. The Government seems interested. Who knowa perhaps the whole of Porton Down could be repurposed?
