A lot of people in the UK will die because Boris Johnson and his pals didn’t take notice of what was coming. Blood on his hands if you lose a loved one through this.
Where was the quarantine of passengers coming from areas known to be hotspots for the virus? Where was the stockpiling of kit for medical staff? Where was the acquisition of testing kits? All this could have been done weeks ago.
Instead they thought we should go for herd immunity, even though it will cost far more lives. Who’s to say Johnson won’t lose loved ones because of this policy. I have no sympathy for the man.
And UK figures are far higher than those officially given. The lack of testing means nobody other than those in hospital (plus celebrities, royals and politicians) know whether they’ve had it or not.
