| I had always assumed that the Perivale Park golf course was on land owned by the club so it was a surprise to learn that it was on public land. It seems to me inexplicable that any space should be given over to a relatively small group of people engaged in a relatively expensive pastime to the exclusion of the rest of us and it doesn't surprise me that the council got such a high level of support for its Regional Park proposal. |
