| The present Labour run Ealing Council want to give away the Victoria Hall part of Ealing Town Hall away to a developer. This was built by the people, through their efforts and public subscriptions, for future use by the people. Giving it away to developers is the equivalent of giving your grandmother away, and off to a pimp. All so the ruling top dog clique of this present council can glorify themseves with a vanity project of redeveloping the Perceval House site. They do this by endearing themselves, it seems, to developers, at the expense of the people. At the same time they are disingenuous, it seems, inept and taciturn in informing the people of developments. That does not amount to a good service for the people they are meant to serve. |
