| Those of an independent mind should be able to ignore the whip but we have too many for whom the allowance system is just a 'nice little earner' and they won't bite the hand that feeds them. The problem is that social media has a memory and those who have posted derogatory remarks about their constituents will be looking for another source of public funding come next May. |
