And the real hypocrisy is that a number of Tory Councillors (including, happily, at least one EX-Tory councillor) are like flies on the Park Rangers thread shedding bucketloads of crocodile tears about the cuts in services which the Labour Council is being forced to make. They are also saying that Julian Bell has broken manifesto promises - well it's not as if the Tories would ever do something like that, is it? "This is exactly why the shabby little bribe should not have been agreed." Well the good news, George, is that the electorate saw through the shabby little bribe - and deposed the party that was offering it. |
