| Robin That's when the underspend occured and that's when we received the windfall, so that's when we made the decision. I also said that i didn't expect the cynics to believe that and you have revealed yourself as a cynic. Like most cynics, you are bone lazy. You continue to refuse to even attempt to explain why you think the council taxpayer shouldn't have had their own money back. You are a typical socialist. Please explain why the taxpayer shouldn't have been given back their own money when they themselves were struggling. The money was there in that fiscal year. Giving the money back to the taxpayer was one of the options. We could have kept it and spent it in any number of ways. We gave it back for reasons I explained in earlier postings. You say it was the wrong decision, but don't explain why the taxpayer shouldn't have been given the cashback. Please explain your position. I have explained mine |
