| I would be completely agree if that were the case (Ann has given a couple of fine examples of that not being the case however) but I would still venture that care for the elderly etc etc is more important. There is a stereotype that the more artistic amongst us don't live in the real world - perpetuating a belief that an Arts Centre is more important than a working hospital would tend to re-enforce this. I re-iterate that I am not against Ealing having such facilities but feel that in the short term they are unaffordable. Reducing cuts and postponing pain will lead to us paying more and for longer. |
