| Re I don't believe your claim to have friends from the minority ethnic communities. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Iraqi ghost No. 1 did not turn up Friday eve as stated but before you declare he is just a ghost and not real, he did phone and apologise for the delay ( but even then did not turn up later . Time keeping does not seem to be an Arab forte, I remember few years ago I invited him, mother and sister to Christmas dinner at 8pm and they turned up 1 hr late, from Nottinghill Gate ). And Pakistani ghost No 1 is off back to Pakistan today, flight at 5pm ( Ghost Mean Time sans doubt). 8hr flight to Karachi so as he now has high blood pressure I told him yesterday in a ghost phone call to buy the special socks to prevent dvt, neither of which he had heard of and said he would get them at Boots this morning. A ghost with ghost socks eh?, must be a sight for sore eyes. And while he is winging his way back home, I should be having chinese meal with Chinese ghost hosts. Gaw'd, ain't life strange. Actually, while I am typing this I am looking at the present Pakistani ghost brought for me this time and I must say it does seem in rather " solid form " as it were. But then maybe I am a ghost and this message does not exist?. But if it can be read by others then presumably they are ghosts also!!! |
