Regarding the "moderates" are we to believe that a structure for them will always remain so? This would suggest that "militant" mosques were always militant. Unfortunately some things copy the UK socialist party. The electorate is promised great undeliverables and mistakenly falls for it. Over time the electorate forgets what they voted for and the "loony left" creep in - by which time it's too late to reverse the process. I suppose with the present government it's not so much the loony as the money (doesn't quite rhyme) left. And what is a moderate? Someone who detests our (Anglican) British way of life but tolerates it? One could include papists in that category - we have a long history of anti-government/monarchy popish plots. One might consider that we don't hear of Baptist bombers, Elim Church extremists, Free Church fundamentalists, Methodist militants, and so on. |
