Without wishing to go out in the rain to check I believe that the cycle lane to the west of Leeland Terrace is in conjunction with a single yellow line. If this the case which has the priority? I can (just)understand the bus lane markings "disappearing" under pedestrian crossing zig-zags but some combinations of road markings are not obvious. As I have said in earlier posts there should be NO parking anywhere along London bus routes except in marked bays, ie extend the "red route" concept to all routes, including back roads at all times that the routes are operational. If properly enforced it might be possible to eliminate bus lanes altogether except for contraflows. As an aside the Council's munificence of £50 "cashback" could be doubled if the nighttime parking regulations were enforced regarding parking lights usage near road junctions. |
