Re The Gazette remains a reasonable local paper but it is nowhere near as good as it was three or four years ago xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and why should that be, wouldn't be by any chance because the population has and is changing, to the extent that there is decreasing interest in what used to be in Ealing as was. In Southall for example I doubt there is much interest at all in traditional Ealing, Hanwell and West Ealing are well on the way " to being modern " as one poster told us what the de-anglicising of Ealing is, with good parts of Acton all the way to Shepherds Bush likewise having become " modern ", and the market there is totally " modern ". Schools in the Borough are the portent for what lies ahead. |
