| Careful Nigel, you’ll be accused of threatening him soon. Paul. What are the annual stats for injuries to cyclists in Ealing? Not your perception but the actual published figures. You could find out and even break it down into A roads and minor roads. The data is out there. The fact is cycling is a minority activity. Even the lobby groups like UK cycling know this. But refusing to use a cycle lane because it doesn’t meet your perceived ‘standard’ is simply stupid. Rather like refusing to wear a helmet when all the science indicates it will reduce the risk of serious head trauma. |
