| Yes Frances, The question with consultation is whether it is designed to deliver a specific answer. My experience since living in this Borough is that this is true. I have real concerns as to whether this could set a precedent to prevent any kind of protest? I am pro-choice but realise that if people are offering another way and help then that is worthwhile. But images of foetuses and being called baby killer are harassment. What I find strange is that through all of this we have not seen any detailed video coverage. That makes me suspicious as well. I know some anti-abortion people are violent idiots and thugs who in the States have committed murders of clinic staff, but in the UK we tend to be quite civilised. So my view is that we are in danger of becoming a society with free speech restricted to nothing. |
