| Whilst I agree that local shop parades need all the help they can get during this recession, however I do not believe that doubling the amount of stop and shop bays and/or the waiting time is going to stop 'commuter's' parking as they will still park on the remaining non stop and shop bays. What about the other 'commuters' (i.e. traders or those working in the lane) that park their cars there all day? Aren't they taking away parking spaces from shoppers? There is plenty of parking available in Scotch Common, which is only few minutes walk away, why can't they park there? |
