| Walked down Haslemere Avenue this morning as said I would. I'm still not so sure on this one but always happy to admit when I am wrong. The camera is facing towards the zone but is located where I stated - well before Mervyn Road. The signs for the zone are on the corner of Mervyn so it may well be you can turn left into Mervyn and the camera see that and not penalise so that could well eb the out rather than turning around. If it's not clear to me on foot not sure how clear it'll be to drivers. Notwithstanding, the displacement is a bit of a joke. As pointed out by my missus this morning as we slip slided our way down the pavements... "I'm sure the school run Mum's will drop their kids off just outside and let them walk to the school gates on these dark, icey, cold, wet mornings and do the same to collect them later; or allow use of horrendous public transport / walk from front door - yeah right!" I've also seen there's one coming into play around Elthorne School -- a secondary school! I'm sure those of us with working braincells can work out these are zero to do with child safety. £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ |
