| The school street signs are large, bigger than any other nearby sign and at every entry/exit point. There are also warning signs up on street posts and big red signs warning of the new road layout. You want flashing lights too? The flashing school lights you mention were used to warn of a lollipop person or school crossing point ahead, or accompanied by a 20mph sigh, to indicate speed should be reduced near the school. No doubt if they were used for school streets you would still have some drivers finding ambiguity with them. |
