Some schools "close" for training days (even then there will be children on site), but overall it's the term dates that matter, see above. If you're not sure just don't drive into the school street during the times shown, no fine right? Perhaps a little bit of inconvieniance for some for a MASSIVE benefit for kids coming and going from the school gates most of the year. Surely a driver who wants to drive into the school street when they can't and has to adjust something could see the MASSIVE benefits of having the streets around the school free from traffic chaos for the kids? It's clear the council (coucils) have weighed this up and decided having the school street wins. |
