| Apparently this is causing major problems for the BBC because there are so many potential battleground seats and it is fiendishly difficult to predict which ones will matter. The problem is that the models we are using for seat by seat predictions are basically only being relied upon because they worked at the last election. That might have been dumb luck. Labour by 5,000 seems like a high number for Ealing Central and Acton - I think you are right about the variations for other parties which probably means we are talking 2-3,000 for Labour but who knows who will be second. |
