| OK How much are children taught about how government both local and central works? How much are they taught about marketing and heavy marketing? For their own wellbeing they need to learn to have a certain amount of cynicism - isn't that what you would call "evaluation"? History needs to be taught so that we learn from our mistakes but as we have seen there are constant attempts to re-write history. The internet is used all the time for this as articles snd information are changed without leaving a public revision note but books are not immune. |
