| Dear Councillor Mahfouz, The issue has become much more serious than the actual nature of the carer permits that Ealing Council uses, this has exposed fundamental failings in the democratic process in Ealing Council and how it operates: my Member of Parliament is accountable to his constituents through a record of the way he votes in Parliament. For some reason Ealing Council is NOT following the practice of keeping or publishing these records for Councillor voting in Ealing Council. Your answer does not address these issues. I believe that before this becomes a national scandal some effort should be made by Ealing Council to actually publish this information regarding these votes.
