| This thread has interested me somewhat. I would be interested in who voted against the carer permits. I think that it would be useful for Ealing to know who from among all the councillors voted against the carer permits - not just Labour. That you have been given two answers that take you away from a legal way of identifying who the culprits were makes me wonder what is trying to be hidden here. I think perhaps a deeper request using the Freedon of Information Act might even get you some of the information as to who put these ideas together behind the scenes if the reuest was framed right. Mr Maytree has a good approach here Ealing Council has to give you the information within a certain amount of time (I am no expert unfortunately). I think that the voters of Ealing should know what their elected concillors are actually voting for. I would like to know if the people I voted for voted to abolish carer permits. I think that this would be democratic as then I would know whether to vote for them next time. |
