Ealing Council does have a Department of Democracy, or so I noted in a post elsewhere (which disappeared). Perhaps an inquiry to this department would be forthcoming with the voting details, as well as information about what to do when the council is going back on its word (as it appears to be doing here about consultation). I am sure that there is a judicial process that can be enacted here: perhaps a High Court Injunction to stop the council changing the CPZ pricing while a Local Government Ombudsman reviews why the residents were not consulted? |
