| We recently had new lamposts errected in Hollies Road which is a cul de sac. None of the residents were consulted and none of us wanted them. One lampost was errected right outside my bedroom window and now I have difficulty sleeping at nights and I might have to buy new curtains or blinds - can I claim this back from the council? We asked sometime ago to have the lights dimmed, but nothing has been done about it. I'm extremely angry that some of my council tax is paying for something neither myself or any of my neighbours wanted. Such a waste of tuime and money. |
