Let’s reduce the garden waste service to nine months of the year but put the cost up. What if residents complain and say they need the bins all year round? Well tell them to drive to the recycling centre five miles away, ‘cos we shut the one nearest to them. What if they say that’s creating more traffic and making recycling stuff more difficult? We’ll ignore them and trumpet about how green we are by refusing to stop overdevelopment in west Ealing and proposing to build on a flood plain in Hanwell! Genius. |
