I received a consultation pre-form. It being part of a consultation, Case Law requires its wording to be neutral. Phrases like "high parking stress" and "chronic parking pressure" break this requirement. The 2nd side shows my current CPZ hours incorrectly.... wrong times and 3 period not two. Other problems include the statement that there are no extra costs. Below that it states that parking will cost Ł6/day for visitors but at the moment we pay Ł1 for two periods = Ł2. My maths says that is an increase of Ł4. I haven't read the on-line document yet. However this flawed introduction will have to be re-written with accuracy and to comply with the law and be redelivered to every household. I have written to the company responsible for this poor document. Who knows if I get a reply. Which Coucillor and which officer proof-read this? Perhaps they should deliver the corrected version. Second class non compliant rubbish. Weep oh ye citizens. |
