| Calling into question Commonplace is starting to make the pro-LTN group look a bit like Trump's MAGA hat wearing supporters when they questioned the Dominion voting system. One piece of information that Gordon omitted in the long list of evidence that points to huge opposition to the LTNs in Ealing is data released by the Council on feedback received in their email inboxes up to January. The COVID transport inbox received 668 emails from individuals of which 73.5% expressed opposition and the Traffic Notices inbox received 1,181 emails expressing a view either way, of which 69.2% were against the schemes. Gordon hits the nail on the head when he says the high level of opposition is not down to people being upset at having to take a bit of a detour but that the evidence of their own eyes and lungs tells them that the LTNs are achieving the opposite of what they set out to do. |
