| I certainly don't think that all van drivers could be cycling instead. I was illustrating the fact that it is not always an impossibility. I do think though that it can be used as an excuse to never consider anything other than drive. There are many different sorts of cycle. There are now a lot of electric ones and they can also be adapted to suit all sorts of disabilities. We need to slow the roads and make it possible for those who can to cycle. As I said the biggest excuse for parents not wanting their children to cycle is the aggressive traffic on the road.
