| I suspect that having a legal source of alcohol open till midnight might well help put some of the dodgy booze vendors in Northfields and South Ealing that do stay open all night and sell booze at hugely inflated prices "after eleven" under the counter. A lot of these shops keep going off this illegal trade and sometimes supply other things under the counter. The high prices in these shops reflect the fact that they do not want to provide competition in pricing and instead make their money of somewhat dodgy activities. |
