| I think those are fair points. I am as worried as everyone else about losing the local (and especially 'foodie') shops that are a feature of Northfields and West Ealing in general - but I do not count the endless 'odds and ends' grocery shops as being among these, necessarily. The Tescos Express arrived since we've been here and is an improvement on what was there before. The Spinning Wheel is a loss because it wasn't a previous grocery store, it was a music pub - it seems to have closed after losing its live music licence. How did that happen? |
