Mark, I don’t know why you’re being so rude to me. Granted we seem to disagree on some points, but why are you accusing me of ‘dumbing down of debate that has become prevalent on social media’? We’ve only had one interaction here, and it has so far been quite cordial. It’s an indisputable fact that an engine from a vehicle emits pollution, and it’s not a ‘barely measurable amount’. Running an engine while not intending to move anywhere makes absolutely no sense from an environmental standpoint. And I am not ‘insisting that drivers sit in an exceptionally hot car’. Why would you say that? I made it perfectly clear in my first reply: ‘Get out and sit or stand in the shade would be my advice’. Please don’t falsely accuse me of saying things. We can all look back on our previous comments in this forum. I agree with you that driving in a hot car can impair judgement and is a bad idea. Using air conditioning when driving is a good way to avoid the heat. Drinking plenty of water is a good way to avoid dehydration (which is a lesser-known consequence of air-conditioning). I’m glad you’ve come to this forum because you have an opinion and have made it (mostly) clear without any of the childish name-calling and abusive language seen elsewhere. Like I said, it’s refreshing. I’m not sure why you’ve concluded your reply by referring to me in the third person, though. Who are you talking to?
