I think describing suggestions of carrying water with you as 'hysterical' is in itself a hysterical response, if you don't mind me saying. Who are all these people bullying you into carrying a water bottle?

I think that there are too many announcements on the tube as it is, but the fact is summers are getting hotter. 2022 was the hottest summer on record.

I remember the 80s (and the 70s) and you're right, I don't recall people carrying water waith them. However to say 'we survived just fine' is a bit like people who say 'we survived the Blitz'. Many people died. One of the longest summer heatwaves on record is 1976, when over 700 people died in London alone due to the heat.

Things change, and we need to adapt. Whether we like it or not.

At the end of the day, you are free not to carry water with you.

And yes, I am enjoying. Glad you are too. 🌞
