| Paul, there are none soap blind as those who will not see. What is slowing traffic of all sorts down is the restriction of carriageway width by up to 50% to cater for the minority transport interest that is cycling which, with the best will in the world,only represents around five to six percent of journeys made in the borough. Even if that doubled removing 50% of the carriageway to cater for 10% is transport planning nonsense. |
