"car ownership and usage remains higher in Ealing than many London boroughs. Long may it remain so" Brilliant, well said. Except for - Road runoff infecting our rivers, including screenwash, tyre particulates, disc brake particulates, oil, diesel, microplastics... all finding their way into our rivers and streams and destroying ecosystems that we are part of. Cars are carbon intensive to make and run, and we all need to become carbon literate. Cars are a danger to all road users, especially disgusting and pointless SUVs, and only rich people can afford cars, driving around pumping out fumes into the lungs of poorer, younger people. |
