| Except it does have a history of flooding - there is an underwater stream running under the park. The top end used to flood often and path became impassable. The existing ponds have helped the issue but still overflow from time to time so more drainage basins should help the issue. They have not been connected yet so the benefits not visible. 2700 properties were identified as being at future risk and flash flooding is becoming more common as a consequence of climate change. |
