| You're conflating experience of flooding with a risk of flooding. Please tell us when the area has actually experienced flooding? Perhaps a time when the park has been so wet that it's impossible to pass through it? I played football for a couple of years three decades ago in the park on Sunday afternoons and in the worst weather one could get a little patches of standing water on the grass but that was it. There'll always a risk of flooding anywhere but that risk needs to be quantified. What is it? 1 in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? |
