A very knowledgeable local lady has pointed out the following information from the East Lodge planning application. ‘4.5 flood Risk Zone The site is less than 1 hectare and is designated by The Environment Agency as having “Very Low Risk” of flooding by rivers and sea and “Low Risk” of flooding by surface water. Furthermore, the site is within the Environment Agency’s Flood Zone 1 which has a low probability of flooding from rivers and the sea.‘ I wonder if the EA just invented that and really the park is underwater most of the time. |
