Actually, you can do a quick assessment using their online tool (enter a postcode here https://check-long-term-flood-risk.service.gov.uk/postcode). The postcode for the park is W13 9QD, which is the postcode for Elers Rd. The current risk varies on Elers Rd; at the north end currently low, increasing to medium between 2040-60, risk is lower in the middle of the street but then is high at the southern end. The risk of flooding in the part itself is deemed very low, except for a strip running across it. There is a water surface map which might be easier to follow. (https://check-long-term-flood-risk.service.gov.uk/map?easting=517262&northing=179829&map=SurfaceWater). It’s interesting to look around the borough, as it seems that there are some areas more likely to flood than the streets around Lammas Park (Acton Main Line, parts of Perivale). |
