| There is a lot of money flying around West Ealing for improvements to cycling and walking. £8 million? Now I was told that none of this money would alter car parking. There is a fair amount of chaos and poor provision of parking for shoppers. The reason many of us live in busy west London is for the services it provides. To ensure these services stay in business and for elderly and challenged people to get there and use them there must be a rationalisation of this provision eg 3o mins is too short and many over 65 don't use a mobile phone to extend this short period. One of the authors Joshua gave me the assurance that they would do nothing to parking. Now I find he has taken away two potential parking places and replaced them with benches and flowers. Do something useful with this money please. Don't remove parking places. |
