| Dear SD Brock, Have you not read about the finances of Glenkerrin and their valuation of the land etc.. Thank God for all the people who did complain else we would be like Dublin with a part finished white elephant on our hands. Who would want to live in the tower anyway? people want to live in ealing for the green spaces and pleasant surroundings not for ego towers!! So SEC are some kind of criminals? I think not!! and many others do. There are always plenty of sites that can be developed without infringing green spaces. And when those are full then you say the place is full. one problem ealing has is the lack of facilities for the extra people and also lack of extra transport services. so the same old record. The govt actually blocked the project not the SEC. They lobbied well but obviously the minister at the time recognised that the plan was plain bonkers!! |
