"the attraction would be the smell given off by the contents of the babies' soiled nappies which would be food scent to the fox" --------------------------- Nice, I'd want one of these creatures in my home. "If it was a fox " ----------------------------- The parents saw the fox in the room. There was a photo, it looked very guilty. "The poor fox gets a bad press which is not always warranted" ------------------------------ Attacking babies in their cots will usually bring bad press. "driven into urban areas built on his habitat" ------------------------------- The Fox has adapted to the environment he's in. Its a scavenging animal, so it will get food from a variety of sources. They do eat mice and rats, but normally in the cities, the diet will consist of our waste. Small rodents make up a very small part of their diet. I don't remember Basil signing a lease agreement, my home and my garden is my habitat. "I hope this incident doesn't have a negative effect on the demise of this beautiful creature " --------------------------------------- Depends on if people change their ways really doesn't it? With no food source, they'll quickly bugger off, legally of course they are classed as vermin. The ones in the cities are usually full of fleas and disease, but then if you live off fast food and human poo, its to be expected isn't it? |
