| All very true. The lack of scrutiny of those making decisions is very damaging for democracy. The BBC is laughable as a news organisation, particularly ast local level. Last week there was a major spat at the London Assembly over the mayoral budget. Khan has cut his question time with the Assembly to just one hour and continues to avoid answering anything, preferring to attack those asking. It was covered by ITV London (who at least have the excellent Simon Harris) but not a peep on BBC London, which remains unwaveringly supine when it comes to thenMsyor. |
