'professional' = someone who charges money to do a task. Don't really think qualifications or on the job training can really come into it. If you make your living at it, you are a professional. If someone, for instance, washed dishes and they took money to do it, they would be a professional dishwasher and the work must be up to an expected standard. If not the person paying them to do it and the washerupper have some legal protection. If that person did it for free (they'd be called "Mum"!), they have no rights as they are a volunteer. |
