'Why don't you debate the real serious policy issues and the political differences between the various parties rather than concentrating on the pros and cons of individual candidates ?' - that's a bit rich isn't it, after the time you've just spent here slagging off the candidates other than your preferred one, and bigging up himself? And why have you ducked my request for you to introduce yourself and your party membership/ affiliation? - something to hide? And as for your last two paragraphs, be assured the longstanding ConLab habit of trying to cement our two-party stranglehold by ganging up in that way on the Libdems or any other potential third force just rubs voters like me up the wrong way and makes us more likely to support such a third force. No doubt if you were campaigning in Scotland before the last election there you'd have been spinning a similar yarn about 'no prospect of the SNP forming a government' - and ended up with egg all over your little fizzog. |
