As a Christian i believe in Taxation though there was a story about the Tax Collectors!! A lovely lay preacher from our church spent many years as a Tax Collector and found that passage quite tricky!! But overall we have a country where generally people are happy to enjoy the NHS and accept that they need to pay taxes to do these things. I have paid a lot of Tax over the years and pay not so much now but I believe in Balance where if you need insulin you will die if you cant afford the prices the 3 producers charge in the states. Yes because we have been encouraged to think that we must pay less tax then we end up with services on the cheap. For me the balance of Holland or Denmark shows the way we should look at taxation. It is our contribution to the well being of society.
