| Yes in America. There is the estates tax and CHUMP has cut it back but in reality the changes only affect the super rich. He sold it making out that farmers will benefit. But only slightly. The real beneficiaries are the billionaires under Trumps tax giveaway. I have no real objection but obviously the cut off level catches out a lot of people here. It has risen in recent years but perhaps a grading of the tax would help. say a lower rate between £500k and £800k and set the threshold to £500k. That would eliminate a large number of people. |
